WhatsApp · for later

Email letters are our first channel. WhatsApp is kept for a future release; automated sending is disabled until the business sender and verification are ready.

The table rules

Here to socialise

Momo is for meeting over food, games and conversation. Being friendly doesn’t mean anyone owes you attention, photos or contact details.

Kind is the minimum

No harassment, hate, threats, spam or unwanted advances. Respect a no, a quiet moment, and someone leaving early.

Private means private

Don’t share someone’s phone number, messages, real name or photo without their permission. Use a nickname, but don’t pretend to be someone else.

A plan you can see upfront

A host confirms the date, public venue, group plan and full cost before you commit. A wish or an invite request is not a booking. This site doesn’t collect payments.

Meet in public places

Use the confirmed venue, never someone’s home. Arrange your own travel and tell someone you trust where you’ll be. Tell the venue about allergies directly.

If something feels wrong

Use the flag next to a chat message to report it, or hide that member’s messages. Hosts review reports. This is not an emergency service.

Your privacy, in plain words

What we save, and why

Your seat is a random code saved in a cookie on this device. Email is optional and only needed for invitation letters. When you first try to message, we ask for a nickname, age, gender and food avatar. Those details and your messages are visible to signed-in members. There is no age eligibility rule. Your invitation email (or optional WhatsApp number), city, letter choice, consent version and request time are stored so hosts can arrange invitations. The email provider receives your address and letter when you request confirmation or a host sends an invite. Hosts can connect activity to your account. This is a pseudonymous community, not a promise of complete anonymity.

Your contact details stay off the table

Your email and number never appear in profiles, wishes or chat. Email ownership must be confirmed before a host can send an invitation. Each letter has a link to leave the email list. Opting in lets hosts send Momo invitations. It doesn’t add you to any WhatsApp group. Automated WhatsApp sending stays off until the business connection and phone verification are set up.

Photos & conversations

Existing optional profile photos are visible to signed-in members. Hosts publish meetup photos only with permission from people in them. Community and gang chat are visible to their members. Private notes open only after a host confirms shared attendance and both people opt in; you can turn them off or block someone. Chat is not end-to-end encrypted. Hosts see reports, including reported private notes, and can remove messages.

Your choices

Leave the invite list to remove your email address and phone number. A hashed email-and-plan record remains to prevent repeated invitation sends; provider logs follow the provider’s retention settings. Delete your Momo data to remove your profile, wishes, invite request, messages and reports. Copies already received by other people can’t be recalled. Contact: the.world.is.waiting.for.uu@gmail.com.
